What we collect
We collect only what our forms ask for, and only when you send a form.
- Quote request: your name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), delivery ZIP code, how you want to get the order, and your materials list.
- Wholesale account request: your legal business name, trade name, your name, work email, phone, state, type of business, expected monthly purchases, and whether you buy for resale.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone (optional), the topic, and your message.
Please do not type card numbers, bank details or tax ID numbers into a website form. We never ask for them there.
The parts you add to your quote list are saved in your own browser so they are there when you come back. They reach us only if you send a quote request.
If you place an order or open an account, we also keep the records that go with it, such as quotes, invoices and any resale certificate you send us.
Why we collect it
- To answer your question or quote request.
- To price your order and work out the freight.
- To review a wholesale account request.
- To contact you about an order.
- To keep the business records we need to run the company.
Who sees it
- Our team.
- Our email provider, which delivers form messages to us.
- A freight carrier, only if we ship your order, and only the delivery details the carrier needs.
- Site analytics: we may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits to the site. The tool has not been chosen yet. This line is hidden in the production build.
